Frequently Asked Questions

3:1 mode means a UPS accepts three-phase input but delivers single-phase output. It suits installations where the available supply is three-phase — typical of commercial buildings, data centers and IT facilities — but the connected load is single-phase, like server racks and critical IT equipment. Premius RT is factory-configurable between 3:1 and 1:1 mode, letting one UPS adapt to either supply scenario.

A UPS with lower power factor cannot deliver its full kVA rating as usable kW — a 10 kVA unit at 0.8 PF only supplies 8 kW to the load. Unity power factor closes this gap, eliminating the need to oversize the UPS. Premius RT delivers unity power factor across its 7.5-20 kVA range, supporting dynamic loads typical of data centers and IT environments without deration.

Either. Premius RT is built in a rack/tower form factor that occupies just 3U of rack space, with an auto-rotating LCD display that adapts to the chosen orientation. This makes it suitable for IT rack setups in data centers and server rooms, and equally usable as a conventional tower UPS in standalone deployments.

Yes. Premius RT supports N+X redundancy with up to four units paralleled, scaling to 80 kVA total output. If a single UPS fails, the others absorb the complete load — enabling both capacity expansion and high-availability redundancy on the same platform.

Premius RT is engineered for diverse operating conditions with conformal-coated PCBs to prevent corrosion, a dust filter to prevent particulate accumulation, and built-in over-voltage protection against voltage spikes — extending UPS lifespan and reliability in industrial, infrastructure and harsh-environment installations.
